NEW VERSION OF GAMEDAY
WHY AM I BEING CONTACTED?
We recently let you know about a new version of the GameDay app, and we wanted to remind you it’s time to upgrade!
(If you have upgraded in the last few days you can ignore this!)
As an active user of GameDay Mobile App it’s important that you upgrade now to avoid an upcoming service interruption.
HOW WILL I BE AFFECTED?
From 1 December 2018, if you load the old app version you will not be able to move past the launch screen and will be unable to view teams and schedules.
So upgrade to the new version now - available free from the App Store and Google Play. When you first login we will simply ask you to verify your account and set a new password. The app makes this easy to do on your phone, by prompting your email. Alternatively, you can verify your account through your desktop email.
This verification is a one-off step which allows us to apply additional security to your account.
Once verified, GameDay Mobile App will load your existing favourites and active teams registered against your email, for any teams that have been active in competition in the past 90 days. Otherwise teams will appear on the 'Inactive' tab.
WHY IS SPORTSTG MAKING THIS CHANGE?
SportsTG has a vision for GameDay Mobile App to become the leading Grassroots Sports App, and this change is a big step in that process. You will notice that the app has a new look and navigation. We have enhanced the search, and as you look into match and player detail you will see more stat information.
